Just say ’no’ I get asked all the time about this – how do you balance being a Mum, a pastor’s wife, a songwriter, and a worship leader both at home and away. I smile, and then think for a moment about all the parts of my life that are full and at times a little crazy. The truth is that thanks to a very sensible husband, I’ve learned to say no to a lot of what I’m asked to do. What we need in life is a ’balance buddy’ – someone who loves us and understands what we are called to do, yet won’t shy away from telling us to stop and reassess where we are at periodically. I wouldn’t even know where to begin without the wisdom of my husband. These are the questions we always ask when we’re approached to take something on – is this a good thing to do right now for our family first; next does it work for our church; and thirdly do we sense this is something that’s just part of what w ...

There is a scripture that really hit home with me today. It is found in 1 Corinthians 9:20-23 and it says "To the Jews, I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings."

What's up gals!! am so excited to talk with you again. There is a powerful word I want to share with you that I know with bring so much revelation and freedom in your life. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the POWERS of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." The word I want to focus on is….powers. If you look deeper into that word, it means "powers of delegated authority; choice."Every single person has a choice to ...

Hey guys, for the past couple of days I've had a thought thats been on my heart and its something I've been reading about in the Word and I wanted to share it with you guys.
For the last couple of weeks, I've been reminded of Love and have been reading a lot about it. Love is such a simple thing but we tend to complicate it. Love is never about yourself and what you want, that's "Lust". The world has really gotten these two mixed up and has presented it in such wrong ways. 1st Cor. 13:4 List all the different attributes of love(patience, kind, not easily angered, etc.) and that anything we do without love is pointless. We have two goals here on earth before we die, Love God and Love Each other, Jesus himself said that these are the two greatest commandments. It's not about ministry, its not about music, its not about you. Its about God and People. I often ask myself, what am I doing to display love to those around me. Love is not just showing random acts of kindne ...

What's up everyone! Hope all is well:) One of my favorite scriptures is James 1:2-6 - It says to consider it PURE JOY whenever you face trials of many kinds, because the testing of our faith develops perserverance. Perserverance will finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking ANYTHING. Crazy Huh!? Many of you girls out there have maybe been going through some tough times - from family problems to relationships, to sickness. God says to consider it a joy when you face trials - so that means sometimes God allows circumstances to happen in our life so that we can become the women of God He has called us to be! The Bible says that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So if He is king of KINGS, that means we have to become a king. In order for you to become a king, you have to CONQUER something. Its time to conquer the fear, worry, pain, hopelessness, sickness, rejection, ...

The story behind this song is unique. We had written the tag at the end of the song which says, "We will fight for you, we would die for you, we will go for you," at a youth service and I remember all of our students screaming it out at the top of their lungs. About the same time, our youth pastor, Jeremy Johnson, had been reciting this poem to ignite and motivate our students in their faith.
The motto of our youth ministry is Infiltrate, Destroy, Rebuild. The concept is to infiltrate the powers of the world, destroy the darkness that is overtaking it, and rebuild it with the word of God. This song has motivated many people to start the process and infiltrate this world for Jesus Christ. -Sean Loche

The Change is actually one of the first songs I had ever written. I remember going to one of my greatest mentors, Jen Avelino, and saying, "I want to write a song that talks about a generation making a change..." and that's pretty much what the song talks about. As believers, we can make a difference for the kingdom of Christ. I believe that the problem is that we are waiting for a revolution to happen and then we will jump on board, when really, a revolution begins with each of us. When we all step out individually for the purpose of Jesus Christ, that is when we can really see a change happen in this nation and world. -Sean Loche

There is a line in the beginning of the song that says, "Make my world, collide with yours..." When you think of a collision, everything that once made up each object in the collision gets completely merged together. When I wrote Consume Me Now, I was at a place where I needed to submit 100% to God, not just give Him half of who I was but all I was... I was at the point where many people are at today... submitting half way to leadership, giving half of who we are in our church or ministries, and only feeling half way satisfied from God. I began to cry out for God to consume every part of me and completely collide who I was with Him. Let God consume every part of you today...

The song "Crazy" is a crazy song :) It is definitely a worship song that you can let loose in and get a little crazy for our God. In today's world we have things that people can get sold out and crazy for. For example, we see those football fans, basketball fans, baseball fans decked out in painted faces and screaming as loud as they can for their team. This is all great, but we believe we need to lift the name of God up louder and bolder than anything of this world. This is why "Crazy" was written: to see people get more radical for God than anything else and to let people know we do not have to be quiet worshippers! "The world will try to shut me up but they can't hold me down, I will worship You like crazy!"

Isaiah 6:1-3:
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
... Imagine the day where we sit at the feet of God and can join with the Angels and sing this looking at Christ face to face. Where there is no pain, nor sorrow, but only freedom and overwhelming joy because we are next to the King of all. When I wrote the song All We... I saw so many student's lives getting radically changed one week, and the next ...
